Psalm 113:4-6 NKJV

The LORD is high above all nations, His glory above the heavens. [5] Who is like the LORD our God, Who dwells on high, [6] Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in the heavens and in the earth?

It's so easy to get things out of perspective when there's so much chaos in our world.

When we see marauding mobs causing mayhem on the streets of cities or hear bold pronouncements from the "United Nations" - we can feel overwhelmed and at the mercy of unfolding events, powerless to do anything about it.

Lock these verses in your heart, knowing that your Heavenly Father is high above ALL the nations. There is no higher power or authority. Nothing, not one thought, act or plan passes Him by.

He has written down His eternal purposes in His Word and will act, although it seems a long time coming, wait, you'll see.

Isaiah 59:14-20 NKJV

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter. [15] So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. [16] He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. [17] For He put on righteousness as a breastplate, And a helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, And was clad with zeal as a cloak. [18] According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay, Fury to His adversaries, Recompense to His enemies; The coastlands He will fully repay. [19] So shall they fear The name of the LORD from the west, And His glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. [20] "The Redeemer will come to Zion, And to those who turn from transgression in Jacob," Says the LORD.

Prophecy is written down as if it has already happened, and, indeed, in God's "eternal now", it has!

Evil may look as though it is winning, but it only has a short lifespan - the plans of the Lord will last forever.
