Psalm 2:10-12 NKJV

Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth. [11] Serve the LORD with fear, And rejoice with trembling. [12] Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way, When His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him.

Growing up in Sunday School we were encouraged to see Jesus as gentle, meek and mild - and, to those of a broken spirit so He is:

Isaiah 66:2 TPT

My hand made these things so they all belong to me," declares Yahweh. "But there is one my eyes are drawn to: the humble one, the tender one, the trembling one who lives in awe of all I say.

Yet we see a strong and very angry Jesus driving out of the Temple the corrupt ones, who were making money out of the worshippers:

John 2:14-16 TPT

As He went into the temple courtyard, He noticed it was filled with merchants selling oxen, lambs, and doves for exorbitant prices, while others were overcharging as they exchanged currency behind their counters. [15] So Jesus found some rope and made it into a whip. Then He drove out every one of them and their animals from the courtyard of the temple, and He kicked over their tables filled with money, scattering it everywhere! [16] And He shouted at the merchants, "Get these things out of here! Don't you dare make My Father's House into a centre for merchandise!"

That should be a warning to present day Christians who charge high prices for tours, books and merchandise.

God's Word is not for sale!

It is available to all for no charge:

Isaiah 55:1 TPT

"Listen! Are you thirsty for more? Come to the refreshing waters and drink. Even if you have no money, come, buy, and eat. Yes, come and buy all the wine and milk you desire- it won't cost a thing.

Those who dispense justice in the courts, rulers and those who make laws in Parliament will have to answer for their acts.

The day is coming when they all will be subject to the rule of the Son.

Remember how Jesus stopped reading the scroll of Isaiah:

Luke 4:16,18,20-21 TPT

When He came to Nazareth, where He had been raised, He went into the synagogue, as He always did on the Sabbath day. When Jesus came to the front to read the Scriptures, they handed Him the scroll of the prophet Isaiah. He unrolled the scroll and read where it is written, [18] "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, and He has anointed Me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, 'You are set free!' I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God's great acceptance has begun." [20] After He read this He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the minister, and sat down. Everyone stared at Jesus, wondering what He was about to say. [21] Then He added, "These Scriptures came true today in front of you."

He stopped before the part God's wrath on those who stubbornly reject His Word:

Isaiah 61:2 TPT

.....and a time of God's recompense on His enemies

We are about to enter the end of the age of grace and He will return to dispense justice in the Earth

Time to "kiss the Son" while there's still time!
