Answered prayer

Psalm 116:1-2 TPT

I am passionately in love with God because He listens to me. He hears my prayers and answers them. [2] As long as I live I'll keep praying to Him, for He stoops down to listen to my heart's cry.

When the Lord sends an answer to prayer it causes a great outpouring from deep within us - as we read in this Psalm.

Finally, after being in the midst of war, my nearest and dearest arrived home yesterday.

Many faithful prayers from dear friends had gone up for this, so when I saw him come through the the doors at Arrivals, it was amazing.

I still can hardly believe it, but he's here with me again.

My Psalm

I love You Lord

You hear my prayer

You bend down your ear

And You answer me

Yes, You fight against my enemy

When I'm weak You are strong

O I love You Lord, I love You Lord

You are the theme of my song

Yet so many are still caught up in this conflict. How callous if I forget to pray for peace and justice to prevail.

There are those who still long for news of their love ones, those whose memories are traumatised, those who are in deep, deep mourning, those whose injuries will be with them throughout their lives.

Dear Father God, thank You for answered prayer, it encourages our faith. Now please overrule the demonic spiritual forces, hiding behind this conflict, bent on destroying humanity and planting hatred and enmity in our hearts.

Jesus You are the Prince of Peace, the One who laid down Your Life so we can be saved. Save now from Heaven, protect the weak from those too strong for them. Show Yourself strong on their behalf.Amen and amen!
