2 Corinthians 3:15-18 NLT

Yes, even today when they read Moses' writings, their hearts are covered with that veil, and they do not understand. [16] But whenever someone turns to the Lord Jesus, the veil is taken away. [17] For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. [18] So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the Glory of the Lord. And the Lord-who is the Spirit-makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His Glorious Image.

Ebereche Eze, a famous footballer, is unashamed of his faith in Jesus. When he scores a goal his hands point to the sky and he makes the sign of the Cross with his two forefingers.

More than that, his face positively shines as he thanks the Lord - he is reflecting the Glory of God empowered by the Holy Spirit.

This Glory is attractive and compelling, causing people to be drawn as a moth to a flame, to the Light of Jesus, The Christ.

We, who believe in Him, don't have to be a famous in order to reflect the Glory of Jesus. We have this privilege in our every day life.

Through just living out our faith before those around us we are called to be reflectors (not deflectors) of Jesus' Love and Light.

As Jesus said in His Sermon on the Mount:

Matthew 5:14-16 NLT

"You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. [15] No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. [16] In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father.

Let it be so today - Amen!
