Zephaniah 3:14-17 NKJV
Sing, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O Israel! Be glad and rejoice with all your heart, O daughter of Jerusalem! [15] The LORD has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst; You shall see disaster no more. [16] In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: "Do not fear; Zion, let not your hands be weak. [17] The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Way back, deep in the mists of time, when I was a tiny tot, I used to be very scared of the dark. I'm told, although I don't consciously remember, that I cried until mum would come to comfort me.
I still recall her gentle, soothing voice, however. She would sing me a lullaby, calming me down in such loving way, until I drifted off to sleep.
Her reassuring presence and lulling song drove those fears away.
That's the picture here, of the God of Israel, coming to live amongst His people in Jerusalem.
Revelation expounds this further by prophesying about the new Jerusalem where Jesus will live and reign after His Return.
Revelation 21:1-4 NKJV
Now I saw a new Heaven and a new Earth, for the first Heaven and the first Earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [2] Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. [4] And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away."
This future event is firmly written down in God the Father's diary. It WILL happen!
In the meantime, fellow believer, when you and I are scared of the dark times coming on the Earth, be child-like, cry out to your Heavenly Father until He comes to quieten you with His Love.
Stop and listen, He's singing a joyful and soothing lullaby over each one of us, if we have ears to hear. Through Jesus He brings blessed peace to our souls.
John 14:27 NKJV
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Shalom
