Ephesians 4:1-6 NKJV
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, [2] with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, [3] endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; [5] one Lord, one faith, one baptism; [6] one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
The "Internet of bodies" is a disturbing, but evolving phenomenon happening before our very eyes.
What is it?
The IoB is an extension of the Internet of Things (IoT), where devices connect to the human body through various means (wearable, ingestible, implantable) to monitor and interact with it.
Conspicuously absent are the words "control" and "manipulate" which would be a red flag to most people.
It is being sold to us in the basis of keeping us healthy, monitoring us for signs of heart attack, strokes and cancer. It's already in use to keep track of diabetes.
But the nefarious aim is control of body and soul.
It is a counterfeit of the role that the Holy Spirit plays in the life of a Christian - whereby we are "connected" to Jesus "wirelessly".
Through the Holy Spirit we are constantly in touch with Jesus and each other, having the Word of God (God's software if you like) downloaded into our heart and soul.
The Lord's aim in this is that we should act like Jesus' Body doing and being what He wants.
Imagine the counterfeit of that, which is Satan's grand design, to control and destroy.
For instance, The World Economic Forum's aim that, by 2030 we will own nothing and be happy, will only occur with the IoB, using "Smart Cities", quantum computing and digital currencies under one government.
It's not a good outlook for ordinary humanity.
So what to do?
When the outlook is bad, the uplook is glorious.
The Return of Jesus is imminent - that's where our Hope is - the blessed Hope:
Titus 2:11-14 NKJV
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour Jesus Christ, [14] who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
