Exodus 4:22-23 AMPC
And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus says the Lord, Israel is My son, even My firstborn. [23] And I say to you, Let My son go, that he may serve Me; and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, your firstborn.

Has the Lord hardened his heart as He did with Pharaoh so long ago in Egypt?
Be assured that the Lord is intrinsically involved in this current conflict - Israel is the firstborn and the chosen of God.

Hosea 11:8 AMPC

Watch the news, test the spiritual atmosphere, God is at work.
He will be exalted....
Perhaps the parable of the prodigal son tells it best... the father is watching and waiting for the son to return from the pig pen of independence...
Hosea 6:1 AMPC
Come and let us return to the Lord, for He has torn so that He may heal us; He has stricken so that He may bind us up.
What a day when the people of Israel return to their Lord.
