Immutable plans

Psalm 33:10-11 NKJV

The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. [11] The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.

With the Middle East war raging, we hear of many plans from different nations. The UN makes its proclamations of International Law, secreted in New York, far from flying bombs- what do they know of trouble? What good is their croocked wisdom and counsel?

The UK prime minister spouts his weasel words, quoting UN decrees and edicts - then reverses his position. He's like sinking sand, that the nation cannot build upon.

Each person is searching for truth and real safety in the storm. Where can this counsel and protection be found?

Only in the Lord. He is the fount of all wisdom, power and knowledge.

His Word formed all that there is and His Kingdom is coming.

The plans of the Lord's heart are that we connect vitally with Him, through Jesus, the Christ.

He made the way, because He IS The Way.

Find eternal shelter and safety only in Him.

He echoes the words of this Psalm when He stated:

Matthew 24:35 NKJV

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

Believe and trust only in Him.
