It's ALL in Him

Colossians 1:27 NKJV

To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 2:3 NKJV

in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

I could see my dear friend look, with incredulity, deep into my eyes to see if I really meant what I had just said.

I held her gaze, having experienced what I had said.

What was it that made her examine my words?

Well, I told her that I had zero confidence in myself, that I couldn't even speak in front of people minus Jesus.

Long ago, when I was at my most broken, feeling rejected and cast off, the Lord gave me this "Sword of the Spirit" to wield:

Isaiah 41:14 GNT

The LORD says, "Small and weak as you are, Israel, don't be afraid; I will help you. I, the holy God of Israel, AM the one who saves you.

Yes, it was a word to Israel, but, as a grafting of Jesus, it applies to me, little ol' me, worthless, fearful, not much of anything, me.

The ONLY thing I have to boast about is "Christ IN me, the Hope of Glory".

When I have a dearth of anything (this pertains particularly to my work) I know that in Jesus there is ALL wisdom and knowledge - HE is the answer.

It has been a source of constant amazement to see the unfolding of His wisdom and knowledge in my life.

It's a privilege to give ALL the glory to Jesus - He deserves it ALL.

It pleases Him to use those who are not much of anything.

1 Corinthians 1:19-21 GNT

The scripture says, "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and set aside the understanding of the scholars." [20] So then, where does that leave the wise? or the scholars? or the skillful debaters of this world? God has shown that this world's wisdom is foolishness! [21] For God in his wisdom made it impossible for people to know him by means of their own wisdom. Instead, by means of the so-called "foolish" message we preach, God decided to save those who believe.

1 Corinthians 1:27 GNT

God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise, and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful.

Therefore I say unashamedly I am one of God's"foolish ones"!

Hallelujah
