2 Chronicles 20:12-15 NKJV
O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You." [13] Now all Judah, with their little ones, their wives, and their children, stood before the LORD. [14] Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, in the midst of the assembly. [15] And he said, "Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the LORD to you: 'Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Whether it be a national or personal battle, when you choose and seek the Lord as your fortress and salvation, the conflict becomes God's battle.
The war raging between Israel and Iran right now is a direct affront to God.
Iran has named Israel the "little satan" and USA "the great satan" and has called for the annihilation of both.
The Lord takes those threats personally.
The Bible specifically promises that, only if the laws of nature fail, only then would Israel cease to exist:
Jeremiah 31:35-36 NKJV
Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): [36] "If those ordinances depart From before Me, says the LORD, Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever."
Israel is in the Land to stay - mark it down. Believe it. Anyone who says otherwise is riding for a fall.
That should encourage us in our walk with Jesus.
We can rest assured that our Heavenly Father takes it personally if we are innocently attacked.
It goes from being our fight to His fight.
We may look very feeble, vulnerable and weak compared to our enemies, but when they pick a fight with us, they are picking a fight with the Lord.
God sees what they are doing and planning and He will bring ultimate victory though we are surrounded on all sides - like Israel has been.
Jeremiah 23:23-24 NKJV
"Am I a God near at hand," says the LORD, "And not a God afar off? [24] Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?" says the LORD; "Do I not fill heaven and earth?" says the LORD.
Selah.
