It's not enough!

Isaiah 49::6 CSB

"It is not enough for You to be My Servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make You a Light for the nations, to be My Salvation to the ends of the earth."

Isaiah 49 begins by voicing Yesua's thoughts about His Calling:

Coasts and islands, listen to Me; distant peoples, pay attention. The LORD called Me before I was born. He named Me while I was in My mother's womb. [2] He made My Words like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His Hand. He made Me like a sharpened arrow; He hid Me in His Quiver.

Then, He goes on to share His prayers, perhaps crystallising His thoughts from the Cross?

Isaiah 49:4 CSB

But I Myself said: I have laboured in vain, I have spent My strength for nothing and futility; yet My vindication is with the LORD, and My reward is with My God.

Imagine the Saviour having those familiar thoughts of frustrated failure, as we all have in our lives.

No wonder He is the Perfect Priest for us.

God the Father answers back so very powerfully to the Servant's cry of futility:

It's not enough for You to be the Saviour of Israel, You will be a Light to the nations, bringing salvation to the ends of the earth!

How true is this prophecy.

Right now the Gospel IS going out to the nations. It has been proclaimed ever since the coming of the Holy Spirit after Yeshua's Resurrection and Ascension.

Perhaps now is the time for Israel to turn back to the Messiah? For that was His first priority:

Matthew 15:24 NLT

Then Jesus said to the woman, "I was sent only to help God's lost sheep-the people of Israel."

One for Israel, whose ministry is to to the Jewish people, tells that their Hebrew YouTube channel has millions of views.

It is a place where curious Israelis can watch, in Hebrew, testimonies to Yeshua in the privacy of their own smartphone, without being seen.

Who knows but that the Holy Spirit is drawing the Chosen people back to the Messiah Yeshua, as has been foretold long ago through the prophets.

Zechariah 12:10 NLT

"Then I will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look on Me whom they have pierced and mourn for Him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for Him as for a firstborn son who has died.

How marvellous to watch the full circle of the Gospel, as the Lord begins to fulfill His Prophecies of restoring Israel to their Messiah.

For a long time Yeshua (Jesus) has been discarded and even hated by the Jewish people, and He still is by many who have suffered at the hands of "pseudo" Christians.

But the Lord has promised the opposite:

Isaiah 49:7 NKJV

Thus says the LORD, The Redeemer of Israel, their Holy One, To Him whom man despises, To Him whom the nation abhors, To the Servant of rulers: "Kings shall see and arise, Princes also shall worship, Because of the LORD who is faithful, The Holy One of Israel; And He has chosen You."
