King Absolute

Revelation 19:11-16 NKJV

Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. [12] His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. [13] He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. [14] And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. [15] Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. [16] And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

This prophetic picture draws the age of history to its dramatic climax - when finally the nations will face and reap the harvest of their rebellion against the Lord.

The feeble attempt to dispense with the Creator of all will come to a dramatic and devastating end.

England, by God's grace, has stood proudly Christian beginning in 597 with the arrival of Augustine and the conversion of king Æthelberht of Kent.

Our flag, the Cross, has flown over the land, signalling its adherence ONLY to the Christian faith.

Monarchs have promised to protect the Christian Faith and its people since that time.

Now this monarch has dared to dilute the Primacy of Christ in our land.

He has, in effect, demoted Jesus to the ranks of other false gods, by calling himself defender of faiths!

Perhaps he should read this portion of Revelation and tremble at what awaits those who defy the absolute supremacy of the King of kings and Lord of lords!

Even a cursory reading of the Scriptures reveal the foolishness of mixing foreign gods with the Eternal Creator God.

Isaiah 42:8 NKJV

I am the LORD, that is My Name; And My Glory I will not give to another, Nor My praise to carved images.

To be defender of faiths is an insult to Jesus who is THE Way, THE Truth and THE Life. He said NO ONE can come to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).

That, my friends, is as clear as crystal. So why would anyone want to defend any other faith? Did any other faith leader rise from the dead or promise everlasting life and forgiveness of sin to all who believe?

Our great commission is to proclaim Jesus and His sacrificial Death and Resurrection. That is the only faith worth defending.

Joshua 24:15 NKJV

And if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."

We all face the same choice: to accept or reject the King of kings and Lord of lords - their is no neutral ground.

I stand with King Jesus, at whose feet every knee will bow.

Philippians 2:9-11 NKJV

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in Heaven, and of those on Earth, and of those under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the Glory of God the Father.
