Micah 1:3-4 NLT
Look! The LORD is coming! He leaves His Throne in Heaven and tramples the heights of the earth. [4] The mountains melt beneath His Feet and flow into the valleys like wax in a fire, like water pouring down a hill.
There's a silent hiker on YouTube named Harman Hoek. He travels the world hiking and leaves breathtaking movies of his hikes.
These are awe-inspiring testaments to the wonder and might of Creation.
At the end of each YouTube, if you're quick enough, you can spot a Bible reference in small print.
Take a break from depressing news and watch one:
Last night we watched his hike up the highest mountain in the Americas - Aconcagua - staggeringly awesome - the colours, the vast mountainous terrain, the sky vistas - amazing.
Then he ends with the above passage from Micah.
To the Lord, what looks like an impossible mountain in our way, is something He can melt like wax, when His Feet tread on it!
He doesn't have to climb mountains - no, He formed them in the beginning and He will melt them at the end of time, when He comes.
A Bible study on mountains is fascinating and inspirational - let's do it!
Thank you Harman for making these YouTubes.
Thank You Lord for Your amazing Creation, please melt mountains of fear, worry, sadness, sickness, violence and tyranny - Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
