Mountains fall on us

Revelation 6:12-17 NKJV

I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. [13] And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. [14] Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. [15] And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, [16] and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! [17] For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?"

The arrogance of complacency that drives people to deeper and deeper evil, because they believe there is no one who will call them to account or bring retribution for all the injustice hidden in dark places.

They bargain without the prophecies in Scripture and the very Essence of the Eternal God - Who sees all, knows all and will ultimately administer His Wrath upon all who are unrepentant in their sin.

The passage above tells of the reaction of humans who try to flee to the mountains for cover from the Wrath of the Lord.

There will be no cave, rock or mountain which will hide anyone from the wrath of the Lamb of God.

We think of "gentle Jesus, meek and mild" but forget the strength and wrath He displayed when He drove the money-changers out of the Temple.

Today the open arms of Grace are extended, ignore the call at your peril, for the day is coming when will be justice, wrath and retribution for all wrong-doers, at the Hand of the Lord.

All actions and evil motives, not covered by Jesus' Blood, will be laid bare and just punishment administered.

Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg can dig their underground bunkers, but they won't be able to dig deep enough to hide from the Face of the Lord, even with the help of their A.I.

God has His own A.I. - Almighty Intelligence and has mercifully warned us about the Wrath to come, so we can escape to the only safe place - the Cross of Jesus. Cry out and receive His forgiveness and be covered by the only cleansing found in His Precious Blood.

"Hiding in Thee, hiding in Thee,

Thou blest “Rock of Ages,” I’m hiding in Thee."
