Psalm 69:19-21 NKJV
You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonour; My adversaries are all before You. [20] Reproach has broken my heart, And I am full of heaviness; I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none. [21] They also gave me gall for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
Today is 2 years since the October 7th massacre. It's hard to believe that some hostages are still being held in such tortuous conditions somewhere in the "rabbit holes" of Gaza.

This passage from Psalm 69 is a snapshot foretelling Jesus' Passion, but could also rightly be used to describe the plight of Alon Ohel and Evyatar David (2 of the hostages) in their dire condition down in the Gazan hell-hole tunnels.
We have seen their emaciated state in propaganda photos released by Hamas. These are used to increase the agony of their loved ones as in a twisting of a vicious emotional dagger to the heart.
Surely any sane person can see the incredible callousness and blind hatred on display. Yet the hate marches across the West continue unabated.
The ancient Jew hatred still persists:
Psalm 35:11-12 NLT
Malicious witnesses testify against me. They accuse me of crimes I know nothing about. [12] They repay me evil for good. I am sick with despair.
We Christians have a duty and responsibility to stand with the Jewish people wherever they live.
It's a stark warning to know that the islamists' hatred of Israel extends to everyone who who refuses to convert or submit.
Eventually this means you and me!
Romans 15:3 NLT
For even Christ didn't live to please Himself. As the Scriptures say, "The insults of those who insult you, O God, have fallen on me."
Realising the satanic source of this blind hatred brings events into focus.
Satan hates those who God loves.
Today stand against the hatred and reproach that has fallen on the Jewish people - even if it means that the same hatred falls on us too.
