One narrow route

Matthew 7:13-14 TPT

"Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction-nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! [14] The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life-so few even find it!"

Pope Francis, who died this Easter Monday, once taught:

"Every religion is a way to arrive at God.

Religions are like different languages, or paths, to reach God, but God is God for all."

This is palpably untrue when you compare what Jesus says in the passage above.

It's easy to placate other beliefs and agree to differ, but Jesus makes it very plain that He is the only way to the Father.

John 14:6 NKJV

"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Paul expresses it like this:

Galatians 1:8-9 NKJV

But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. [9] As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

Trying to find God through other faiths will lead to death and damnation.

Only Jesus came and laid down His Life as a Ransome to buy us back and save us from our sin.

John 10:17-18 NKJV

"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. [18] No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."

Today and forevermore He is alive, the Living and Only Way to God.

Revelation 1:18 NKJV

I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.

That's the narrow path that leads to life, don't miss that turning - the turning to Jesus!
