John 7:38-39 NKJV
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." [39] But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

When I first was baptised in the Holy Spirit this verse became a real explanation of what had happened within me.
I did indeed feel those living waters rushing and gushing from within me.
Note what Jesus said: "rivers" - not just one channel but many flowing tributaries emanating from the Holy Spirit - pouring out in all directions - watering all areas of life including everyone and everything we encounter.
Those rivers flow into our work, relationships, our cooking, exams, gardening - everything.
Now that's a Promise from Jesus to those who believe and receive Him! Wow!
It's not a deserving thing but a faith thing, and an accepting thing.
My nearest and dearest brought me a bar of chocolate back from town yesterday - he left it on my desk for me to open up, break off and eat it.
Of course I did!
But how many "bars of chocolate" do I leave unopened which have been given to me by the Lord?
How many stopped up rivers are there in my life?
Too often do I forget that:
Romans 8:11 NKJV
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Recently physicists have calculated that the most mega powerful light beam lasting for only a fraction of a second left the imprint of the Crucified Man on the Shroud of Turin, without burning the linen. "To imprint the unique image on the Shroud of Turin, researchers estimate that a burst of ultraviolet light ranging from 2.5 billion to 34 trillion watts would be required."
Currently scientists can't replicate it - but the Holy Spirit can and does daily in our lives!
Jesus has bestowed this mighty Resurrection Power on His followers - but we have to grab it by faith and run with it.
Today, let those rivers flow - to show that Jesus is Alive and lives in me and you.
Hallelujah!
