Isaiah 51:6-8 NKJV

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My Salvation will be forever, And My Righteousness will not be abolished. [7] "Listen to Me, you who know righteousness, You people in whose heart is My law: Do not fear the reproach of men, Nor be afraid of their insults. [8] For the moth will eat them up like a garment, And the worm will eat them like wool; But My Righteousness will be forever, And My Salvation from generation to generation."

How great is the Word of the Lord.

In this day, when insults, threats and curses are thrown out at the drop of the proverbial hat, we read that God has it all in hand.

He hears all the vociferous threats made against His people and basically laughs in derision, for He knows what their end will be, if they continue on their downward spiral.

Psalm 2:4 NKJV

He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision.

The protection and Salvation of the Lord is forever. Think about that. Trusting Jesus you are totally safe and secure.

Yes, we do dwell amongst fierce opposition, but we have the Lord of hosts who protects us:

Psalm 27:1-3 NKJV

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? [2] When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. [3] Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident.

With deep dismay we hear the utterings and vile pronouncements of Islamic hate preachers against the Jewish People - wanting to ban them from attending a football match. We see the perpetual hate marches on the streets of London and sometimes feel helpless and hopeless against this insanity.

God will use even these things to bring about His purposes.

His Salvation is forever.

Psalm 76:7-10 NKJV

You, Yourself, are to be feared; And who may stand in Your Presence When once You are angry? [8] You caused judgment to be heard from Heaven; The earth feared and was still, [9] When God arose to judgment, To deliver all the oppressed of the earth. Selah [10] Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; With the remainder of wrath You shall gird Yourself.
