The inexplicable veil

Isaiah 25:7-12 NKJV

And He will destroy on this mountain The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. [8] He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. [9] And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the LORD; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His Salvation." [10] For on this mountain the Hand of the LORD will rest, And Moab shall be trampled down under Him, As straw is trampled down for the refuse heap. [11] And He will spread out His Hands in their midst As a swimmer reaches out to swim, And He will bring down their pride Together with the trickery of their hands. [12] The fortress of the high fort of your walls He will bring down, lay low, And bring to the ground, down to the dust.

As you listen to how some people speak it really is inexplicable. It's as if a veil is covering over critical thoughts.

Hateful insults are spewed out as verbal bile without any reasoning behind them.

The passage above speaks of this covering - the deceptive weaving of the evil one that is currently enveloping the minds of those who reject the truth.

That is why someone like Charlie Kirk can be murdered without regret and blind hatred causes shocking celebrations to break out on social media.

No sane person can rejoice at the assassination of another, even if they disagree with them.

Yet the most inexplicable slaughter - that of the Holocaust - is celebrated in some quarters.

We are in the last days where people are rejecting sound thinking, resulting in the spread of lies.

2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; [4] and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.

That's how new ideologies have fermented and spread.

Be assured though, Jesus is going to remove the covering that is hiding truth.

We need to keep praying, keep speaking and reasoning for the Truth until Jesus comes.
