Psalm 121:1-8 NLT
I look up to the mountains- does my help come from there? [2] My help comes from the LORD, who made Heaven and Earth! [3] He will not let you stumble; the One who watches over you will not slumber. [4] Indeed, He who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. [5] The LORD Himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade. [6] The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. [7] The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. [8] The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.
What a Psalm for today as war erupts and bombs are falling! No Shabbat Shalom on this Saturday.
As I sit here in the peace of this Kentish morn, it's hard to comprehend the conflict which is unfolding above the skies of Israel.
Yet the same Lord worshipped in this Psalm is awake, alert and active watching over the Land.

The Almighty IS involved in watching over His people right now.
It is a privilege to be able to pray this Psalm and call upon the Lord for protection and deliverance.
The nations that gnash their teeth and call for the annihilation of Israel not only take on the IDF, but take in the Living God, who of old has promised to keep them.
Zechariah 2:8-13 AMPC
For thus said the Lord of hosts, after [His] glory had sent me [His messenger] to the nations who plundered you-for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye: [9] Behold, I will swing my hand over them and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you shall know (recognise and understand) that the Lord of hosts has sent me [His messenger]. [10] Sing and rejoice, O Daughter of Zion; for behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you, says the Lord. [11] And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day and shall be My people. And I will dwell in the midst of you, and you shall know (recognise and understand) that the Lord of hosts has sent me [His messenger] to you. [12] And the Lord shall inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land and shall again choose Jerusalem. [13] Be still, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused and risen from His holy habitation.
Pray the Word over the Land!
