The Prime Foundation

Genesis 1:1 NKJV

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

In the beginning God...

That's the first and fundamental foundation of belief, that in the beginning, before anything else, there was God.

What does the atheist man say?

The most widely accepted scientific theory for the origin of the world (universe) is the Big Bang Theory, which posits that the universe expanded from an extremely hot, dense singularity (although no one can identify that singularity) approximately 13.8 billion years ago.

Notice it says "theory" and is "approximately" 13.8 billion years ago!

It is a nebulous cloud of indistinct estimates, but taught as fact in schools every day!

The Bible speaks with clarity and gives specifics - in the beginning God created the heavens and earth.

No random bang or unintended consequence of colliding chemicals, but an Infinite Intelligence designing the cosmos to interact perfectly and sustain life.

The creative Word spoke out.

John 1:1 NKJV

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

When we talk of foundational destruction, this is the prime sledgehammer used to demolish faith before it starts

How can anyone believe the Bible if, in the beginning, there was no one creating everything? If man's so called "science" transcends the idea of a Creator - it all just happened by chance!

Compare what the Bible states:

Romans 1:20 NLT

For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see His invisible qualities - His Eternal Power and Divine Nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

Just a childlike enquiry about the form of things like: sunrise, sunset, the seasons, the tides, night and day, seed, time and harvest, leads to a Creator, a Designer, a Sustainer, a Maintainer of all that there is...

In the beginning God!

Let's resore that vital foundation stone of belief.
