Isaiah 53:1 NLT

Who has believed our message? To whom has the LORD revealed His powerful arm?

Praise God, I can answer this question with total conviction this morning....

I may be tired, weak and full of so many faults and failings, but, inexplicably, mysteriously and ever so mercifully, the Lord, by His Holy Spirit, has purposed me to believe His glorious message of salvation.

And, throughout my insignificant life He has revealed His most powerful, almighty arm - intervening miraculously and providing all that I need and more.

I've read Isaiah 53 so many times but never stopped to answer that question in the first verse.

It's the one question that is the pivot on which each life rests.

What's your answer?

As I looked from the window, I saw 3 collared doves, a symbol of the Holy Spirit, alighting on the tree top.

They descended ever so gently onto the top branches - they are there still.

My prayer is that the Holy Spirit will descend on this land to stir each heart and reveal Jesus Christ in a personal way to our neighbours and friends and cause an awakening to drive back the darkness.

Holy Spirit cause that revelation, that stirring in people's lives today - AMEN.
