Isaiah 51:11-12,16 CSB
And the ransomed of the LORD will return and come to Zion with singing, crowned with unending joy. Joy and gladness will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee. [12] I - I AM the One who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear humans who die, or a son of man who is given up like grass? [16] I have put My Words in your mouth, and covered you in the shadow of My Hand, in order to plant the heavens, to found the earth, and to say to Zion, "You are My People."
We live in a world where the word Zion has been dragged through the mud, Zionism is a dirty word for both Jew and Christian.

It has been shortened to "Zio"
and is used disparagingly to defame & demonise those of us who stand by God's prophetic Words towards His People.
Our schools and universities have been poisoned against Zionism and the land of Israel - even denying its right to exist.
Yet, a cursory look in the Bible, will reveal how many promises are given to and are about Zion. Some have been fulfilled and some are up ahead on the Lord's agenda.
At the moment there is currently no everlasting joy in Zion, rather is it a place of division and conflict.
Perhaps we are in a season that Zechariah describes:
Zechariah 12:2-3 CSB
"Look, I will make Jerusalem a cup that causes staggering for the peoples who surround the city. The siege against Jerusalem will also involve Judah. [3] On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who try to lift it will injure themselves severely when all the nations of the earth gather against her.
Nevertheless Zion (Jerusalem) is destined to be the place where Jesus will reign:
Micah 4:1-3 NKJV
Now it shall come to pass in the latter days That the mountain of the LORD's house Shall be established on the top of the mountains, And shall be exalted above the hills; And peoples shall flow to it. [2] Many nations shall come and say, "Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths." For out of Zion the law shall go forth, And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. [3] He shall judge between many peoples, And rebuke strong nations afar off; They shall beat their swords into plowshares, And their spears into pruning hooks; Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, Neither shall they learn war anymore.
There's a great future ahead for us "Zios" - what's not to like about everlasting joy and gladness?
Maranatha Jesus!
