Glorious

Glorious

Titus 2:11-14 NKJV

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [12] teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, [13] looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, [14] who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

Habakkuk 2:14 NKJV

For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

"WILL BE", yes, it will be that the earth will be filled ... not with warfare, famine, lies and corruption - not with injustice and disease - but with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord - everywhere.

We watched an awesome 17 day trek into the wilds of Greenland. Some of the beauty made us gasp with wonder and even tears at the abundance of mountains, waterfalls, lakes and northern lights dancing in the night sky.

Yet for now we see unrest and decay in our cities - peoples perpetually offended and violent, rejecting God's Word replacing it with demonic ethics.

It would be so easy to lay down faith in dust and ashes.

No, lift your eyes, look for that glorious appearing of Jesus, our wonderful King, Saviour, almighty God.

In His timing there will be restoration, retribution and justice.

Look at the vastness of the oceans, the true knowledge of our glorious Lord will fill the earth as the waters cover the seas.

Hope is our blessed horizon.
