Millstones await!

Matthew 18:1-7,10 NLT
About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?" [2] Jesus called a little child to Him and put the child among them. [3] Then He said, "I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. [4] So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. [5] "And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on My behalf is welcoming Me. [6] But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in Me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea. [7] "What sorrow awaits the world, because it tempts people to sin. Temptations are inevitable, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting. [10] "Beware that you don't look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of My Heavenly Father.
Great evils are being perpetrated against little ones, all across this globe. The problem is so big it seems insurmountable.
Jesus speaks about the punishment that awaits those who cause these little ones to sin.
A worse fate than having a large millstone tied around the neck and being thrown into the sea.
Lots of hidden evils are being uncovered right now. The abused are being given a voice - for instance in the independent Rape Gang Inquiry run by Rupert Lowe.
Hideous crimes of systematic grooming, "sexploitation" have been at least ignored or worse endorsed by the institutions who were meant to administer justice.
God is not indifferent to these crimes. His special millstones await the perpetrators, enablers and culpable.
When the Lord picks up His cudgels, there is no hiding place from His Sight.
Even commentators are talking of these evils being satanic (and they are).
May God speed those hands who are working for justice and to rid this land of the scourge of this insidious cancer at the heart of our cities, targeting vulnerable little ones.
Bring on the millstones!
Luke 12:2-3 NLT
The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. [3] Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!
