The Lord's doing!

Psalm 118:21-23 NKJV

I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my Salvation. [22] The Stone which the builders rejected Has become the Chief Cornerstone. [23] This was the LORD's doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.

Don't grab the limelight and the take credit for the things that God has done.

If we do that, we not only are stealing God's Glory, but we are making our own eyes dim.

We see this in the life of Jesus' earthly ministry with the Pharisees and Sadducees constantly following Him about, picking holes in Him.

They couldn't see past their own rules and traditions and so stumbled over Jesus.

They are the "builders" who rejected the "Stone", the "Chief Cornerstone".

Their spiritual eyes became so dull that they even planned to put Jesus to death!

How's your spiritual eyesight? Can you see how marvellous Jesus is? Can you see how He is the foundation Stone of Salvation?

Rejecting Him is a fatal mistake, accepting Him is life from death.

This morning pause to look at what the Lord has done. Let it be marvellous in your eyes.

Then you will say:

Psalm 118:24 NKJV

This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

What am I looking at? What is marvellous in my eyes?
